Here are answers to the most frequently asked questions:
Do I need to create multiple versions of the lipsync?
- We only use the English audio track for animation, so you only need to create the English version of the lipsync.
Is there a picker for the rigs?
- Yes.
Does the company provide a Maya license?
- No.
Which version of Maya should I use?
- You must work in Maya 2024 Update 2.
Does the company pay taxes for me?
- No, we do not pay taxes for you (except when we transfer payment to an individual in Russia). You are responsible for paying your taxes according to your country's tax code.
Which operating system is supported?
- We currently only support the Windows operating system.
How many shots will I be assigned at once?
- We usually assign several shots at once, totaling 5 seconds or more, so you can plan your workload accordingly.
How is the deadline determined?
- The deadline is calculated based on the expected work speed: for series, it's one second of animation per day, and for feature films, it's one second every two days.
Can I request more or less work than the usual amount?
- We are always willing to accommodate your preferences and assign a workload that is comfortable for you, whether it's more or less than the standard.
Is there an annual contract for work?
- No, we do not offer an annual contract. We have an agreement for working on the current project. You are free to work on multiple projects with us, as long as it doesn't affect your deadlines.
Are there monthly, weekly, or quarterly payments?
- No, payments are not made on a regular monthly, weekly, or quarterly basis. The speed of payment directly depends on how quickly you complete the work.
When do I get paid for my shots?
- Once all your shots from an episode are approved and the .ma files are received and checked, your coordinator will prepare a payment calculation table and send it to you.
